| On October 12, 2009, golfers braved grey skies and chilly temperatures to vie for the honor of being crowned Collard Cup Champion and to support a wonderful cause. The 3rd Annual Collard Cup Challenge at Castle Bay Golf Course in Hampstead, North Carolina, raised over $2000 for The Ethan Boone Fund, and we thank you all for your generous contributions. Champions were crowned in the following categories: LONGEST DRIVE: ED MOORE & CLOSEST to the PIN: HAROLD BATTS However, none was quite as memorable as the display that secured the title of BEST MERRITT FIT: ED MOORE If you don't think a 7 iron can fly, you might want to discuss it with Ed. |
